Wood End First School

Today Josh and Matt Soman visited the Year 2 students at Wood End First School, Stantonbury, and spent some time discussing satellites (both man-made and natural) and planetary science in general.  This provided a fantastic opportunity for a quick Q&A session about the meteorites and the planetary bodies that they came from!

Milton Keynes Premier Academy visits the OU

2013 UK Space Conference

The Open University had a stand at the UK Space Conference in Glasgow last week. In addition to our large model of Rosetta‘s Philae lander, we took along our meteorite collection. They proved to be of great interest to both conference delegates and members of the public.
